Larry Cook

PA, US
Presidential historian, memorabilia expert and author with the knowledge and personal experiences to provide unique perspectives on the Presidency.

The Presidency, America's top office, an institution led by a person chosen by the people to earn the title of "Mr. President".

Currently both the office and the president seem to be engaged in drama, controversy and intrigue viewed by many as chaos and political mayhem.

Dealing with immigration, keeping a close eye on big business, outspoken, proud to display military might, publicly calling out those that oppose him and taking his views directly to the people. Sounds like Donald Trump, but these were qualities of Theodore Roosevelt more than a century ago.

Scandals, historic achievements, tragedies, victories, extra-marital affairs, triumph's and cover-ups have made their marks on the presidency throughout American history.
Finally a historian that connects the dots. Larry Cook is a speaker that brings clarity and understanding to the current political landscape. Through parallels in history his triple talent of knowledge, memorabilia and personal experiences provides for eye-opening presentations that entertain and enlighten. He brings to the stage little known facts and stories that gives the audience a rare and personal insight of our nations chief executives, backed up with museum quality memorabilia linking past and present. Stories from his close personal friendship with the 39th President Jimmy Carter and former First Lady Rosalynn along with other personal presidential experiences further enhance the presentations.

Having spoken to a variety of groups over the years such as The National Park Service, museums, sportsman's clubs, historic sites and civic organizations to name a few, Larry will customize a presentation to meet the interests of the target audience.

You will be inspired and awed as you realize presidential history is a continuum influenced not only by the high office but by the personal traits of the president himself.
