David Daniels

David Daniels is a dynamic leadership coach, keynote speaker, and seasoned military and industry professional. As a John Maxwell Team Member, he is certified to Speak, Coach, Teach, and Train, leveraging leadership assessments like the Maxwell DISC profile and Leadership Game.

Currently, he leads the Acquisition Management Office for a major Department of Defense center, serving as the primary interface to industry and a trusted communicator across multiple stakeholders. He manages a team of 18 professionals and oversees 25+ contracting mechanisms, ensuring mission success and strategic partnerships.

In addition, David conducts corporate facilitation on topics such as communication, influence, problem-solving, creating and managing change, prioritization, and building connections. His engaging style helps teams develop practical skills, foster collaboration, and implement effective solutions in fast-paced environments.

With 32 years of experience—including 17 in aviation—David has led complex projects, developed standards, and built collaborative relationships. His aviation background includes roles as Project Manager, Avionics Technician, and Acting Engineering Manager, where he honed skills in clear communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership.

A former U.S. Navy Avionics Technician, he supported operations during Desert Storm and earned numerous awards for exemplary service. Additionally, he served as an Adjunct Instructor at Robert Morris University, bridging academic concepts with real-world application and engaging audiences effectively.

A proven communicator and leader, David stands at the intersection of industry and government, expertly translating complex ideas into action. His coaching resume includes youth sports championships and running Velocity Training Camps, where he trains youth in movement fundamentals to succeed.

His educational credentials include a Master’s in Organizational Development and a Bachelor’s in Organizational Management. Certified by Maxwell Leadership and DAWIA Level 3 in Contracting, David is also a sought-after speaker at industry days and government events—skilled at inspiring and connecting with diverse audiences.
